Mr. Tim Sonnichsen

Mr. Tim Sonnichsen P.E. (Tim) has had extensive experience in municipal solid waste assessment, energy evaluation, and systems development since 1992, when he was first hired by Ross Dickinson (Ross) in the waste-to-value field. Tim and Ross have travelled Asia, Africa, parts of South America and Europe together evaluating waste-related problems. Joint studies have included projects from Vancouver, Canada to Kolkata.

Tim has extensive experience in thermal energy systems, boiler efficiency and design, and leading-edge emissions control. A large part of his professional career has been spent working on steam plants throughout North America for Fortune 500 companies. Since 1985 he has been a long-time advocate for cleaner, modular, staged thermal systems as a better alternative to the conventional large-scale approaches that created early air-quality challenges in North America.
